Bengaluru traffic police have made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow around Chinnaswamy Stadium for the upcoming IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. With anticipation running high and a playoff spot potentially at stake, crowds are expected to flock to the stadium in large numbers.
To alleviate traffic congestion, commuters are advised to opt for public transportation when traveling to the stadium. Parking restrictions have been put in place on several roads including Queens Road, MG Road, Cubbon Road, and others. However, parking facilities are available at St Joseph Indian School Ground, UB City Parking lot, BMTC TTMC Shivajinagar 1st Floor, and OLD KGID Building, among others.
In a move to accommodate late-night travelers, Namma Metro will operate for extended hours on match day. The last train services will depart at 11.30 pm from all four metro terminals in Bengaluru. Furthermore, paper tickets will be issued at MG Road and Cubbon Park metro stations, providing convenient access to Chinnaswamy Stadium for cricket enthusiasts.
This comprehensive traffic advisory aims to facilitate hassle-free commuting for fans attending the highly anticipated IPL clash, ensuring a memorable experience for all.
